RETURN POLICY:
-If you would like to return an item you must send us an email to info@badjoan.com within TWO DAYS (this includes weekends and holidays) of receiving the product. You must specify which item you would like to return as well as the reason for the return. We will then send you a return authorization number that should be written on the outside of your return package. The return package must be postmarked no later than FIVE DAYS from the date of original receipt of the product. ANY CLAIMS THAT DO NOT COMPLY WITH THESE INSTRUCTIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR A REFUND.
-Being out of town is not an exception to this policy. At checkout you will be given the opportunity to request a signature delivery to ensure the package will not be left until you are home to sign for it. We offer this service at no additional charge to you.
-SWIMWEAR RETURNS: All tags and hygienic liners must be in place and the item must be in new condition. Do not remove your undergarments when you first try on the swimsuit. Bad Joan will not issue a refund for swimwear unless it is returned in perfect, re-sellable condition. Please follow all other return guidelines and instructions.
-EXCEPTION TO THE ABOVE: Please note that we do not accept returns on Samanca Custom Jewelry items, fragrance, or items marked Final Sale/Blowout.
-All Products must be unused and undamaged, in orginal packaging (whenever possible) and with hangtags (if any) attached to ensure a refund for the cost of the product.

-All shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, both for the original purchase and upon return. You will not be refunded for shipping costs. We recommed that you use UPS or an insured parcel post for your return. CODs or third party billing will not be accepted. If you send back an item that is found to be used, damaged or otherwise not in the condition in which you first received it, or if you send back an item that has been refused by us for a return, the item will be sent back to you and your credit card will be charged an additional flat fee of $10 for additional shipping and handling costs.
-Refunds will be issued in the same form of payment originally used for your purchase within 30 days of our receiving your returned product.
-We reserve the right to refuse a refund request if it does not comply with these policies.
EXCHANGES:
Due to the limited quantity of our inventory and in order to better and more quickly service our customers we do not process exchanges only returns. If you would like additional items or sizes please return to www.badjoan.com and place a new order. This will ensure that your order will be processed and shipped as soon as possible. It will also give you the best chance of getting the items/sizes you want before we run out of stock.
DAMAGED GOODS:
At Bad Joan quality control is very important to us and we do everything possible to ensure our goods are shipped in premium condition. We ask that you inspect your items thoroughly upon receipt. In the case of a damaged or defective item, you must notify us by e-mail within TWO DAYS of receiving the order, at info@badjoan.com, to be eligible for a refund. In addition, you must include an accurate description of the damage, as well as the location of the damage on the garment. Any manufacturer damage claims sent in after two days of receiving the order will not be considered for a refund.
SHIPPING:
-We ship UPS Ground Monday through Friday during business hours. Please allow 2 - 3 business days for processing. We are currently unable to ship to PO boxes or FPO/APO.
-All Overnight, 2nd Day Air and 3 Day Select orders placed by 11:00am PST Monday through Friday will go out that same day. If an item is backordered or out of stock you will be notified as soon as possible.
-If you are unable to accept a package and it is returned to us, you will be charged a 10% restocking fee. If you would like us to reship the package back to you, there will be no restocking fee, however there will be an additional charge of $10 to cover all additional shipping and handling fees.
GIFT CERTIFICATES:
Any returnable items purchased with a gift certificate may be returned for store credit only. Gift certificates are not redeemable for cash. Gift certificates must be used at the time of purchase and cannot be applied to past purchases.
GIFT COUPON CODES:
A minimum purchase of the face value of the coupon is required for the code to take effect. Any returnable items purchased with a gift coupon may be returned for store credit only. If you return an item purchased with a gift coupon your store credit will reflect the amount spent beyond the gift coupon dollar amount. Gift coupons are not redeemable for cash. Gift coupons must be used at the time of purchase; they cannot be applied to past purchases. Gift coupons cannot be combined with any other offers.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS:
International shipping charges do not include taxes or duties. By law we are required to disclose the full value of the package contents.
