I'm Brooke Wilen and Bad Joan is my alter ego..

From a very young age I was passionate about discovering and uncovering fabulous fashion finds! Whether I find myself in a thrift store or in Barney's I am always looking for that unique item that expresses my personal style.

I began my fashion career as a knitwear designer. I started my own label which sold in specialty boutiques nationwide. In 2007 the economic downturn left me with too much overstock and not enough cash flow so I had to close up shop. But when one door closes another one opens and by spring of 2008 I began an exciting new venture called Badjoan.com!
